Seeding Calm
A 3-Day Mindfulness Retreat for Students, Faculty & Campus Communities
For students, faculty, and staff navigating academic pressure, life transitions, and the search for balance and clarity.
Retreat Insights
Being a student today is more than just managing classes and exams—it’s balancing your future, your relationships, your self-doubt, and everything in between.
From academic deadlines to family expectations, from social pressure to personal struggles—it’s easy to lose yourself in the noise.
If you’ve ever felt like your mind is constantly racing, your emotions feel out of control, or the future feels overwhelming—this retreat is for you.
What is Seeding Calm?
Seeding Calm isn’t about learning to relax for a few minutes—it’s about training your awareness so you can guide your mind, instead of being pulled in every direction.
When your awareness is untrained, it constantly drags in worries about the future, regrets from the past, and the pressure to live up to expectations.
This retreat teaches you how to take back control—not by avoiding stress, but by learning to meet it calmly, with clarity and strength.
Because calm isn’t something you chase—it’s what naturally rises when you stop disturbing yourself.

Retreat Flow – 3 Days of Seeding Calm
Day 1 – Understanding the Nature of Mind & Emotions
- What is awareness and how does it shape your reality?
- You’ll go deep into the mechanics of emotions — from the first flicker of awareness, to the sensations that flood your body, to the exact moment when your mind decides to trigger anxiety, fear, or overwhelm. You’ll see it happening in real-time, and that’s where the shift begins.
- The CIRCLE Technique — Sitender’s proven framework to break reactive cycles and preserve the flow of universal energy within you.
Guided Awareness Practice:
- Where is your power flowing right now? Who owns it?
- You’ll learn to see exactly where your awareness wanders — and how to bring every ounce of it back under your control.
- Because awareness isn’t just attention — it’s your raw life force.

Day 2 – Mastering the Art of Response
Calm isn’t the absence of chaos — it’s the power to choose your response.
Vipassana-Inspired Practice:
- You’ll observe the rise and fall of sensations, seeing the cravings and aversions that fuel every storm inside you. You’ll learn to witness without reacting, breaking the cycle before it breaks you.
- Emotional Clearing: Releasing the stuck emotions from past experiences.
Breath Training: Using the breath to calm the nervous system in real time.
Group Reflection (Optional): What am I still carrying that no longer serves me?
Day 3 – Designing Your Calm Practice for Life
- Integrating awareness into daily life — how to seed calm in every moment, not just when meditating.
- Creating your personalized “Calm Ritual” — a daily practice to anchor yourself before the day takes over.
- Witnessing Your Patterns — learning to spot triggers before they hijack your calm.
- Closing Ceremony: Writing your personal manifesto for calm and clarity.
- And when you meet the calmer you — the you that no storm can shake — you’ll realize calm was never the goal.
The goal is to live wide awake — and celebrate life as the festival it was always meant to be.
Not someday. Every living moment.

What You’ll Walk Away With?
- A practical, personalized daily calm practice you can return to anytime life overwhelms you.
- Deep understanding of how your mind, emotions, and awareness interact — and how to control the process.
- Tools to respond instead of react — preserving your energy for what truly matters.
- Techniques to manage anxiety, fear, and emotional storms without getting lost in them.
- A deeper sense of who you are when you’re not drowning in noise and chaos.
- A new relationship with yourself — one built on awareness, not avoidance.
- Build an unshakable relationship with yourself — filling the void left by broken relationships, betrayals, divorces, and the ache of abandonment.
