The Breath That Heals

A Proven 3-Day Pranayama Retreat to Ease Inflammation & Chronic Pain

Taught by someone who’s lived your pain—and fought his way out.

My Journey of AS

If you’re living with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), Arthritis, or any chronic inflammatory pain, you know it’s not just physical. It invades your days, steals your nights, and poisons your future, slowly eroding your sense of control until you start doubting life itself. I know this because I’ve lived it.

There was a time when even breathing felt like a battle. Sitting was agony, sleep was impossible, and a single sneeze felt like my spine was being torn apart. Nights weren’t for rest—they were my enemy. I wasn’t afraid of the dark; I was afraid of what my own body would do next.

But the pain in my body was just one part of the war. I was drowning in loneliness, crushed by repeated failures, and watching my closest relationships crumble. My mind spiraled through depression, anxiety, and bipolar swings, leaving me unsure if I was even sane. My body wasn’t just attacked by AS—it was breaking down under non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a harsh reminder that the suffering wasn’t just in my mind. It was everywhere.
I was at war on every front—physically, emotionally, socially, mentally, and financially. And for a long time, I believed I was losing.

Healing From the Himalayas – Finding My Breath Again

I left the noise of the world behind and retreated to the Himalayas, living in isolation at a monastery near HH Dalai Lama’s home. Surrounded by silence, I was forced to confront my pain—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I immersed myself deeply in Mindfulness, then delved further into Vipassana, and eventually found my way to Pranayama—the ancient science of breath as life force. This was no ordinary breathwork; it was a matter of survival. It was war. My breath became both my weapon and my refuge.

Why Pranayama Works for Inflammatory Disease?

For thousands of years, pranayama has been more than just breathing techniques—it’s the science of managing prana, your vital life force. When prana flows freely, healing happens naturally. But when it’s blocked by trauma, fear, stress, or grief, it turns into inflammation, disease, and suffering.

Pranayama works at the root level:

This isn’t theory. It’s ancient science that goes beyond healing inflammatory diseases. It’s how I pulled myself out of the fire—and how I help others do the same.
